You'll need SO-DIMM, max 16GB (dual channel)

Now I'm itching too...
are you sure it's sodimm?i saw somewhere it can support both?
just to make sure....this does not require a power supply?

Uses DDR3 so-dimms, I have a couple laying around but those should be easy and cheap to source as well.
Yeah the board does not work with 2GB modules, you need 4GB or 8GB

4GB @ R299 and 8GB @ R637, not too bad..

I usually just collect from them cause I stay around the corner...

Not sure where you saw that, it is SODIMMS only.
Uses a standard power supply (24 pin ATX Power Connector)

Never mind - I found it under Power supplies???
Yeah I think I found it under black Friday deals - odd site, took a chance and actually got awesome service from them. Ordered on Monday, received on Wednesday.

how do you connect it to your ratel?
12v Pico Supply - I got one from TAL which is a bit expensive, I think there was a cheaper one, you can probably find one cheaper elsewhere with a google.

I saw the "2GB DRAM per module is not supported" on Asrock site, but I think its the actual memory chips on the dimm - currently running a 2GB dimm which works fine but it has 4x512mb chips on it.

So yeah maybe just check that before you buy RAM.

Do you have the exact link - not finding that, and I'll like something like that for a pinball build i'm making.

Also makes for a good plex board, as it has hardware transcoding - Intel QSV
Let me know if you guys spot a deal again like this somewhere! Thanks!

I am hoping for R 9k but think probably R 10-11k

Yip ridiculous launch price is 330$.. lets say 330$ x 1.1 x 1.15 + R 1000 shipping (worst case) should be R 7200 from Amazon but they wont have stock
