E-waste but might work if you can load some kind of lightweight linux distro on it.
Their site seems borked at the moment.

Tivoli Model One Bluetooth Black Silver - Bluetooth & FM Speaker. R1290
Cool little devices, they normally sound really good for their size.

Wow that is a super price. Quality piece of kit that.

They are very nice, pity there’s not much to listen on the radio any longer, even at that price I don’t know if it’s worth buying it just as a glorified BT speaker

One Day Only, R1099.

Disclaimer: Looks like this is the older model? 200 oscillations per second, Li-Ion, 2W.

It's at an all-time low price with an extra 15% back for eBucks guys for FNB day: https://www.takealot.com/philips-oneblade-with-4-click-on-combs/PLID56139322

Also, there's a voucher code you can use. NOWORRY150 for R150 off R550 or more. Not sure if the voucher will impact the 15% back. Risk on you.

Saw this Hisense Smartphone on Takealot not sure if it's a deal but at first glace it looks like decent specs for the price.
Any thoughts from those more informed regarding smartphones?

Don't think Hisense gives you full OS updates so you'll be stuck with Android 11.

Knowing Hi-fi corp there was 1 remaining unit somewhere 900km from any civilized areas.

Sup, bargain hunters

Is there anything that competes with this LG monitor in the UHD/4k display class? The price seems really decent, unless there is something I’m missing.

For office work, no gaming so high refresh rates aren’t necessary

LG, for whatever reason, often ends up with the best pricing for 27" 1440p or 4k monitors.. have seen this countless times over the last two years as I am waiting to pull the trigger on my own purchase of 27" monitors..

I had an LG monitor yonks ago and it was brilliant. Never had a day's crap with it.

I also had a Dell for work which have been faultless but since I have had FHD displays since 2012, I think it's time for a step up :)

That is a very good price for a 27” 4k IPS display, it even supports hdr, if the reviews check out I’d go for it.
27" 4k is the sweet spot, best size/resolution for desktop use.

32" 4K is the actual sweet spot ;)

Hell, I have excellent eyesight for reading, and use 125% scaling, I'd hate to see what scaling is required at 27", I would assume 200%

This is for productivity work - gaming might be another story
32" becomes a pita to place/mount, it’s just to big and used as a desktop monitor you have to turn your head to be able to see from one edge to the other, 27" doesn't have that issue. Also 32" 4k gets expensive, @PhireSide wants to buy a R4500 IPS display not a R10000 one. I use my 27" 4k with scaling, can't remember what, at native res it’s ridiculous but the pixel pitch is perfect, everything is crisp.

That being said 4k displays have come down in price since I last looked, now for well priced 4k Oleds

Big monitors definitely can be a strain on the eyes and having to move your head. Had a 43” and was horrible, “downgraded” to 32” a week later

Since I've moved to using an arm, it's been great
