That being said 4k displays have come down in price since I last looked, now for well priced 4k Oleds :love:

Yup, used to 24” so 27” might be just the right step up that won’t feel too large.

Coming from a 13” MBA and 14” Latitude I am sure the real estate will be welcomed.

I went from 24" to 27", 27" was right in the sweet spot.

Bought a pair of these a while back to use in a dual monitor setup. They now have 9952 hours each of up time. No problems with them and am still happy.

The low price comes from the things they leave off, which I did not have much use for. The exclusions include height adjustment, USB pass-through, swivel adjustment and speakers.
 
Thanks gents, my mind is made up :)

The negatives are all small things that I can live without/work around.

I’ll post up my impressions when it’s here, which should hopefully be in this coming week.

Hell, I have excellent eyesight for reading, and use 125% scaling, I'd hate to see what scaling is required at 27", I would assume 200%

I use 125% scaling with my 27" 4k monitor. No problem with text size sitting about an arms length away.

Definitely getting a 32" monitor next :)
 
Can anyone recommend a decent 60-100w PD Charger?

Have a Macbook 60w charger (original) which used to fast-charge my S22U but it doesn't seem to be able to do so now. Fathers Huawei laptop charger can Super-Charge the Sammy; not sure I want to drop R899 if I have an option thats cheaper.

Best is Anker (has an Infineon chip). But McDodo, Ugreen, Unitek etc are good. Invest in a GaN charger.

Ugreen GAN charger 65watt does super fast charging v1 on s22 etc, though it does not do super fast v2. Though I am fine with v1. Was 700 bucks has few usb c ports.

I'm using the Xiaomi Mi 65w GAN charger for s23+. Full charger in 1 hour.
