Still around R2.91 / GB vs R2.49 / GB for the 1TB

Depends what you going to use it for. Year ago I basically ran only my OS of a 240GB one but performance was so much better I tended to run more and more disk intensive stuff off it. Upgraded to 500 GB but was not long and currently running a 1TB

What are you running on the 1TB?
 
240gb is overkill for just the OS.
You can run quite a few apps with it.

I run win 10 and various Dev tools on a 128gb easily ( laptop has 2 drives and the second is a 750gb spindle only used for music etc)

My biggest issue is photoshop and the scratch disk, 120gb SSD isn't nearly enough, I some times used up to 40gigs or more.But will do a trial run and see the end result.Honestly can't sit around twiddling thumbs for 5 minutes every time a file needs to load.

I often get crashes as well due to the HDD being so slow.What I will do is get a bigger SSD later this year and move the scratch disk to the 120gb SSD.

240gb is perfect for Windows Os drive, guaranteed you'll never run out of space and leaves some extra space when you need it, say some large files that will be better if they are streamed off a ssd.

My comment was more for just running the OS.
The price difference on Takealot was R100 if I remember correctly. So then I'd just go for the 240gb

It will have the same issues methinks.
I had a mygica and now the mi box.
Get the mi box and you'll have proper support for Netflix etc.

As a side bonus I happen to have a Xiaomi phone with an IR blaster built in. I can use my phone as a remote without WiFi/funny apps.
