MDS aka Collivery. Worst communication I've ever had with a company.

Most impressed with the little WD ssd while it isn't even remotely the fastest kid on the block, it is decent. Decided on a completely clean installation. Holy smokes never again took a day to get every thing installed configured just the way I want. Longest was stupid windows updates, mtn being absolutely crappy as of late. Which should have taken minutes took hours.

On the plus side I have 50 gigs free space left after installing dev tools.120 gig ssd actually able to do the job just fine not sure how long it will last just yesterday saw 80gigs in writes. But that should likely come down a Fair bit now

Worth all the hassle, I've been running a 240gb wd green for a few months. Very happy, also had a hassle getting setup but worth every penny. Yes it could be faster but it's so a huge improvement over a HDD.

I've got ample space as I only keep apps, odd game and work on the SSD, while the rest goes onto the bigger HDD.

Ebay seems to be offering a $3 coupon to use off anything at the moment. Saw it in my Gmail promotions folder and seems to be applicable to many low value items right down to paying nothing. So a $6 unofficial raspberry pi camera can be gotten for $3 and whatever our post office will charge when items comes sometime next year.

Another $3. Gmail promotions folder; Ebay Messages Folder; Although it expires on the 20th note they may limit to a threshold of usage like last time.

Any specials on 32' TV's? I need two for my kids' rooms; I'm not looking for TV's with all the bells and whistles. 720p max is fine. Heck, I'll even settle for something slightly smaller

None really that are of any good quality from what I saw.

If you can wait, every few weeks Game has been offering 2x 32's for R3500 or so (can't recall make).

I can highly recommend Sinotec for your basic requirements. 5yr warranty is the longest available. I bought a 50inch Sinotec and mounted it in my business showroom to display the CCTV camera's and the thing has never been switched off in over 3yrs (apart from loadshedding)

This is likely to be as good as you are going to get at this point:

R 2300

And with 4 year warranty, it is good value..

Yeah nice little tv, bought one last year when they were R2199 @ loot.

Checked esquire and seems their delivery to JHB is R154.85 - so total cost would be R2454

Can also be had for R2389 from pclinkshop

Like I said before on this thread, these guys are quite competitive with their pricing in general. I stay around the corner so usually collect from them but if I login and select delivery it states 'Gauteng delivery - R49'
Not sure about other areas though. So total cost would be R2438.
Also no need to first register with them like the case would be with esquire if you haven't done it yet.

If I can only get this cheaper somewhere else then I can get Game to beat the price :(

Since I don't support monochoice, it would eliminate the need for a media player as then they can watch YT and Netflix. I have their daddy the 65" UHD in the lounge and it's quite something. I used to only buy LG TV's, but some of the guys on here convinced me to take that Black Friday special.

I'm not averse to the Sinotec though, we have two at the office which has been going for around two years with no issue.

I wonder if I take my laptop with and show Game the price after I've applied the "new customer" special, whether they'll beat that price :)

Doubt it. Think part of their T&Cs states they won't beat special offers or 'sales' ran by other stores, only their 'standard' price. Could be wrong though
