If I can only get this cheaper somewhere else then I can get Game to beat the price :(

Since I don't support monochoice, it would eliminate the need for a media player as then they can watch YT and Netflix. I have their daddy the 65" UHD in the lounge and it's quite something. I used to only buy LG TV's, but some of the guys on here convinced me to take that Black Friday special.

I'm not averse to the Sinotec though, we have two at the office which has been going for around two years with no issue.
Game won't beat the price if it's takealot or loot.

I bought a 55 inch HiSense TV from Game on a Price Match. Took my phone in, showed the Game employee the TV in the Takealot app, proved there was stock and free delivery (they initially wanted to price match but charge me a delivery fee because they assumed the online purchase would incur same).

So I got the TV for R500 less when they price matched Takealot. Can be done, mileage may vary depending on store and managers

Was told by two game managers they don't price match with Takealot because they don't have the same overhead as Game sigh.

I'm going to give it a shot at Game Cape Gate after work, I've got nothing to lose.

I cannot recall if the price match terms always excluded online stores, but looking at the terms now they have certainly updated it since the last time I saw it. They never explicitly excluded black friday deals etc and they also never had the requirement that the store in question must be VAT registered.

Online stores was a later addition to game.

Hifi Corp also has price beat policy as well.

At evetech, looks pretty cheap.

Did the same purchasing my 4k 55" Smart telly from Game about 18 months ago. I saw an advert online for same tv at PnP Amanzimtoti for 1 day only. Printed it out and took it to my local Game in Somerset West. They phoned the PnP and verified it legit and I too got R500 off the PnP price, I ended up paying R5950 for a 4k Smart UHD which is a bargain :)

Don't bother with hi-fi Corp. They can't even beat their own online prices. (two different stores / entities)
EBucks vouchers also don't work for their online store. The voucher that you get in store also does not work online. (tried and tested last week)

For what its worth (and sorry to clog up this thread), those terms were then when I successfully price matched at Game against Takealot - I did ALL my homework and used my A Game to try and twist their arm if they gave me that clause. They never did raise it. You just need to find a willing store+manager combo

I got my 60" plasma from them a few years ago. 5k of their price.
