ok just got off the phone from game.

they do not have stock of this yet , as it is delayed by samsung.

you need to go in store and get a call back voucher , and you will get it at the same price , when they get stock.

Called Game Gateway - No stock because of the Van Reenen snow - Stock will arrive by next week Wed according to them

So not delayed by Samsung
 
Ok guys here's the real deal - the prices as printed are incorrect. They're meant to be R699 (might be why they dont have stock..yeah right).

However I managed to get a 2TB Samsung for the same price as advertised, R499...and I know of 3 other people who got the same deal at different stores.

Could you please explain your statement about price increases when the Rand has been strengthening to all major currencies, especially the Dollar?

So i went to Game Gateway today - asked for the 1.5TB knowing they had no stock and to my surprise they said that they giving the 2TB at the same price since there is no stock of the other 1.
Im over the moon!

hmmm my game has a notice wall with the specials on it, and they changed the price on there saying there sorry about it etc etc, maybe i should go inside and try my luck :/
 
i printed the advert out online, will go to a another game after work, have a few in the area, lets see if i can get lucky :P
 
Any good specials on ultraportable or netbooks for around R3000 for taking to varsity? My Macbook 17" is too big!
