If you are referring to the Billion 7300N RE router, I think that you can only get them from Woodmead and Princess Crossing in Johannesburg. Norwood, Greenstone and Steeledale did not have stock when I called. I didn't try Southdale and Maponya Mall.

I wonder if this sale is at all the hypers, or just at certain ones? Will have to go to the Hyper closest to me later today to see! Will make a nice Wifi access point!

I think most Hypers have them on clear out sale. I bought a few at the Hyper in Durban North.

Northgate had two at lunchtime. Must be honest the spec looked pretty old so didn't buy.

Aliexpress is running a Supernova sale on August 27. Many products will be discounted by up to 50%. If anybody is considering purchasing an Android device such as a mini PC/settop box/media player/ IP cameras etc. it might be worth taking a look. You can also try your luck at getting an instant discount for the sale by landing the UFO in my link below. A lot of discount coupons are also available online and from the various sellers ($5 off for mastercard purchases etc.). You need to read the help file on how to make use of them at checkout on the 27th. My guess is that this promotion will attract many more buyers than the Afrihost one earlier in the week so make sure that you have made the necessary time adjustments for the start of the sale.

Here are just a few items which will be marked down by 25% etc. Check very carefully that the shipping costs are included as this can increase the price substantially. Sometimes you can find the same item available on the site for less than the discounted price (see the last Tronsmart Prometheus link).

If you talking about zakdoc I think he imports his units as well.

Yep, that's the guy. Most of his stuff is imported, but I remember him getting locally sourced Nexus 7's too.

From some of his current threads on carbonite:
White Nexus 4, he states, "Warranty: Has to go back to Google USA"
Whereas the the New Nexus post says, "Warranty: With Asus -Direct".

No specials on DVR's? I'm looking for an el cheapo 8 channel.

I tried searching, but don't know how to look for those that are on special, perhaps you, or someone here, know of a way.

Aliexpress, are these guys for real?

If I buy an S4 from these guys is it going to work with my MTN sim? Has anybody used these guys before?

They're 100% for real! Lots of us on the forum use them. They don't actually sell the products, they're the "middle man". They hold your money in escrow until you have received the item. Only once you receive the item and are happy do you click the "confirm receipt" button. Only then will the seller get paid.

Lots of the phones are replicas so be 100% sure before you buy anything. However, they do have some no name brands with good hardware and usually a dual-sim slot.

A Galaxy S4 for 200$, no way that is the real deal...

I wonder if Aliexpress will be able to handle the load in 18 hours time. When DX had a similar sale earlier this year everything sold out within a few hours.

If anybody is planning to spend more than $100 including shipping you can try to redeem this coupon for a $5 discount at checkout - oneorderbuyer5. New customers can get a $5 coupon for Mastercard purchases by clicking on the coupon near the top of the page in the link below. You can check that the coupon has been loaded successfully from your Aliexpress account panel. Read the help file on how to apply the discount during checkout.

The lightspeed coupons are now also on sale.

The DVRs that will be on sale have [On Sale 27 Aug.] in orange writing in front of the description. Search for DVR, NVR and HVR to see what is available.
