Bought one of these for our company last month for R2200incl so this is a great deal but excludes an optical drive.

TIP: Installing XP on it was a nightmare driver wise but I got there eventually.

Why?

There was a lot of controversy on carb about this question of which is better. Firstly the 850 is a silver rated, whereas the 660 is gold. The 850 is an older build. The 660 has more consistently high ratings, and is shown to pull over 800w so it's overspecced. The majority opinion came down to the X-660 being better for efficiency's sake if your PC isn't running very high demand cards.
