Does it have to be eSATA?

I got a USB/eSATA Coolermaster enclosure from Computersonly.
They are advertising 360 GB with enclosure for R999.
Don't see a price for enclosure only.

What's your experience with the drive at the moment? It has an IDE drive which is slower than SATA, also in the description no where mentioned anything about eSATA...... I would like a SATA with eSATA.
They had both versions IDE and SATA, I took the USB/eSATA with SATA drive and I am happy with it. It's 6 month old now.
A speed comparison for USB versus eSATA which I got is shown here: http://tinyurl.com/58cb79

Thanks, appreciated.
So my friend bigicy got his Altec Lansing PT6021 from Esquire today, nomal retail price R2500 from Nivo, Esquire birthday 'Special' R1700.
But what's so special? It's not a new speaker set. After we opened the seal and checked the inside, we discovered the plastic bags had been re-wrapped/re-sealed. Slight usage marks on the speaker cover.
Well done Esauire!!!
