Personally, I can't justify an additional R3000, to add ONLY 3G. All other features are exactly the same if you compare the Acer A500 (wifi) and A501 (3G).

How do we go about getting this deal? I have an account but didnt get the email, dont see it listed online.

If you give me your email address, I'd be happy to forward the mail to you. Perhaps check your spam folder?

Acer Iconia A500 32GB tablet 10.1" - R2999 @ Incredible Connection

Android Honeycomb, but I read that Acer will release an upgrade to ICS for it.
Includes built-in GPS, HDMI port, USB host port and MicroSD slot
Wifi only, but at this price it's a pretty good deal I think - in fact I bought one this morning (my first tablet)

Hmm, I see the ad says "....with contract" - did you have to take a contract or could you buy the tablet for R2999 without having to sign up for a contract?

Probably going to get it, even though it's more than the 16gb's from Esquire, it looks like a better drive than the Kingstons...
The casing of that Cruzer Blade is made entirely of plastic. Personally I would rather choose something with a steel USB plug. I just bought this Patriot Axle drive from Takealot. I would also look at the Kingston DT101, Transcend JetFlash 500 and 530, Adata C008. Most of these should be cheaper than the Blade (RebelTech, Sybaritic, Esquire etc.).

Thanks for the advice... Problem is there are IC's all over the show but the places you mentioned are all online places so would need to pay shipping then...

contracts to buy stuff sux.

Agreed. In this case though, it's only applicable if you "pay it off" over 24 months on a Vodacom contract. It then includes a separate 3G wifi router, hence a contract it needed for the SIM of the router.
