Are those logitechs worth it? I have the x540 set and they are decent. Are these way better?

Edit. I see they are back up to R5999

Those logitech speaker is the replacement for the Z5500 it is pricey. But it is one of the best speakers system on the market if not the best you can buy for your pc.

Cool. I might pick them up if they come back on special. What really confuses me is that they can drop the price by R2000 :wtf: That either means they are SERIOUSLY taking the p1ss and ripping people off, OR they are so desperate they are selling them at a loss, which I highly doubt.

If you do pick one up, make sure you get a decent sound card to go with it. If you don't have one already cause on-board sound won't do those speaker any justice.

Depends if one's running analogue or digital. No sound card needed for the latter, just optical out, as the speakers themselves will do the processing.

Didn't really think about this. I have a digital input, so I am guessing that would be the way to go. Don't really feeling like buying a sound card not unless it is going to make a massive difference.

Logitech M705, it's an excellent large wireless mouse, only one I'd consider for non gaming. Without a keyboard too. ;)
How will the M705 handle gaming (non hardcore), just the occasional ut2k4 and other older games.

Out of interest sake, which gaming mouse and pad would you recommend?

Very well but the key is in the comfort.

Logitech G9x or G500 with Razer Goliathus Contol pad.
