I think game still has a decent 10" for R999 on special.
The Telefunken? That's only 1024x600 in which case I might as well go for a 7" as it will look better. Plus it only has 2/3 of the battery and memory capacity. What puzzles me is that Takealot sells it for R1,838 normal price.

@Swa: Have you looked at the Vodacom Power Tab 10 (HiFi Corp had it for R1599 yesterday - usually R1799)? It's a rebranded Alcatel Pixi 3 (10) and seems to offer good value. You shoud be able to find a demo unit at most Vodacom/Incredible/HiFi Corp shops etc. The Sandton City Incredible Connection also has a higher spec 10" Lenovo on display so that you can compare them side by side streaming the same 720p clip from YouTube etc. I have been very impressed with the units that I bought a few weeks ago. I did look at the Telefunken from Game but the screen appeared very blurry. I have not seen the D-Link 10" DTB-1188G tablet.

Main thing bothering me with these makes is there's no Cyanogenmods so upgrade path is already dead.

Battery not really a concern for me with generics that have 125% the capacity.

Thanks. Might just bite the bullet as good price for 4tb.

Yeah I think it's just the odd numbers that are dodgy. My 2TB is running fine for 4 years now.
+1

I'm running 2x 2TB and a 4TB without any issues, all Seagate

Hisense > Sinotec

How so? (Genuinely curious)
Note: I've got the Sinotec 43" LED as my desktop display for work and gaming. Edit: Been using it for a couple of months and before that I had a Sinotec 42" LCD (which was fully refunded to me after it failed 3.5 years into its 5 year warranty). Borrowed a Sinotec 39" LCD (my brother's) while I waited for a newer, better deal.

Hisense definitely has better build quality, sinotec generally just looks like schit, bottom of the barrel rebranded Chinese stuff of dubious origin, granted they may work ok and neither brand is very good.
