Hardy + Vista dual boot-wtf?

I've just installed ubuntu 8 to dual boot on a HP laptop which shipped with Vista Home. All of a sudden Vista is a lot faster and seems to be better behaved.

How? Why? Is it envy?

Well maybe Vista now has less disk space to index:confused:. Can't be envy since that just installs graphics drivers for your linux distro

I don't think he is referring to that type of envy:D.

That is weird, what Linoman said could be possible, unless you had indexing turned off.
 
yep, i meant os envy.

Indexing was turned off to squeeze some extra juice from the system; it's really strange, but I'm not complaining.
