Haha, sounds about right for Makro.
Took them almost a week to deliver 1 case of Peanut butter to me, that's after calling them multiple times.

Nevermind my horrific experience trying to return a chair that was broken out of the box, what a nightmare that was.
Completely stopped buying there after chair incident, ordering from Makro online just isn't worth the aggravation.

Makro was probably just making sure with the spca that you didn't just adopt like 12 dogs...

10 items, only a belt that can be seen as clothing. Most expensive is R63 earbuds. Rest is household junk.

Half of the descriptions on Buffalo's list is off though. Maybe to hide some higher tax stuff????

looks like these taxes are a mystery - I know SARS publishes tables where just about every thinkable item is classified and given a specific tax rate, but to get ones head around it, is a struggle.
It would be cool if the taxes are shown at the stage when an order is placed, which should be possible, as Amazon does it

Yep that's exactly what the email to me said with link to Buffalo for tax payment.
They also sent me an SMS with the link and also a voice call message.

FYI, when I paid using my credit card. There seems to be a system error and says it can't pick if the payment was successfull and then asks you did you do the payment. Yes or no.

Yeah, same happened to me. I copied the text for reference. I did say yes.

This temu is no good the more you are on there the more **** you see and want to buy .

I got a message and a whatsapp that the package is dispatched. At around 07:25 the courier stopped here. Awesome service from them that i must say.

That's a ripoff.

Taxes are demanded by our SA Government, so it's not the supplier. When the Parcel arrives in South Africa, it gets inspected, thus we have to pay customs. My order is on its way. I purchased for R1 200 , customs was R102.
