100% correct ,millions leaving the country to support cheap shiiite mass production junk ,money that will never be seen again .our economy needs that money in circulation here .
Nope.

If you buy the junk from China it costs R33 and that leaves the country.

If you buy the same junk from takealot for R100 then R33 leaves the country.
R67 goes from your pocket to Takealots pocket.

I prefer to keep the R67.

Oh and P.S.

Money is a medium of exchange.
The R33 is leaving the country and coming back as something which has a value.

And another P.S. for you.

China send their money to us as well.

and PS you clearly dont own or run a business that imports and has staff to pay to keep them alive .
PS
you have zero clue as to what happens with cheap imports flooding the country and decimating local business
PS
the only people these imports benifit are the chinese distributors .
so buy your cheap chinese junk and dont support local business ,your job may also be on the line soon .

I generally like to support local business but I've ordered things from Temu that I just couldn't find locally (or is outrageously expensive here), then I added a bunch of stuff to the order to make it worth the effort even if that stuff is available locally.

So... what is the quality like seeing the ordering spree all over the place?
So far decent actually, got a case for my Ally that was like 6 times the price locally. The other things have been decent as well on par with takealot stuff

Even supporting locally is just them generally bringing in the same stuff

Usually chapter one in economics.

Why countries trade.

Clearly economics and thinking are things you are not familiar with.

Just an update on my sister's parcel woes. It went to George with ITT courier instructed by Buffalo. My sister spoke to them on the phone and they told her that it has now been send back to their Johannesburg branch. She then spoke to the Johannesburg branch and they said the moment they receive the parcel they have to send it back to Buffalo and cannot deliver it to her at the correct address. Talking about a big fckup.
So my sisters parcel was never delivered and it was a big order. Temu has now offered to resend all the items except the 2 items that are not available at the moment. Those items will be refunded.

Fellas.

How do you cancel one item. I placed an order today for a couple of items and am pissed at one supplier who advertised a different price then charged another.

Trying to cancel I am given the option of canceling the whole order and I don't want to cancel the whole thing, just one item.

Never mind, contacted the service line/ desk and was assisted

you already paid?

Does anyone here had a successful refund processed via Google Pay?

If yes, what was the typical turnaround time from the Temu refund to the money coming back into your account, via Google Pay?

Did Apple Pay and took 2 days.
