Then try another cable? NVM, see you already did that. All signs point to a bad connector in the mibox.
That's what i'm not hoping for. Will do some tests after work. Last night my temper was through the roof, and that's almost where the tv and mibox went. :ROFL:
 

Or pay a Pakistanian a few Coca Colas to repair it for you if it is indeed a dry joint

I had one of those no name Android tv boxes that used to ‘hang‘ when it got warm. It ended up in pieces on the floor after meeting the wall at speed. Bought an Apple TV and that was the end of that
 
Do you not have another TV you can test the mibox with? That way you can pin point the problem (TV or mibox port) seeing as you have already tested different cables and HDMI ports.
 
Just use the right version cable :thumbsup:

You people are missing the point ... he is using the same box, cable, tv, internet, video format as he has for years .... and as of late getting scratchy sound/video ... so he isn't using something "wrong" because it worked before .... something else broke or is dirty :p

So testing... First on the original tv. Bloody fcker doesn't want to fck out. Works 100%

I do. Just set it up and the picture/sound on original tv works 100%.
