Hey guys,
I currently have an Arctis 7 Wireless, but its almost 5 years old and starting to fail. Hoping for some decent recommendations, Ill give a list of what I like and dislike about them and hopefully, I can get some good suggestions :)
I do various things with them, when programming/working I listen to music a lot, and then also play games, meetings, etc.

Pros:
- Awesome mini inbuilt audio DAC, there were 2 dials, one controls master volume, the other is a dial to go between normal audio (music, games, etc) and chat like discord, teams, zoom, etc. if you scroll up the normal audio gets louder and down for chat to be louder.
- Pretty great audio quality considering they are wireless
- Wireless (almost a must for me unless there's a really good reason for wired) the range on the receiver was also really insane
- Aux pass-through for someone to connect to my headset, not revolutionary just a fun feature

Cons:
- I have a slightly larger head than your typical European (where I bought the headset) so it felt like a Vice grip on my skull for the first months, but I put them on a straightener overnight and they were fine after (metal headband)
- Worst mic ever
- Steel series has horrid customer support

Currently looking at Logitech G PRO X because I quite like Logitech after they replaced my mouse even though there was no warranty, so gives me trust in them, mic is also good, I'm just unsure about the comfort of the headset and the audio quality since everyone always has something to complain about its hard to tell if its good or not.

I know some people will suggest better brands like Sennheiser since they are a dedicated audio brand, Ive used some of their headsets for a short time in the past and they were great, unfortunately they dont come in wireless so its a huge -1 for me since I know im going to walk off with my PC attached to my leash of a headset

Astros A50. Have had mine since 2016. The only thing that has failed is the battery so needs to be perma wired now (never looked into whether the batteries could be changed).

Can't go wrong with Logitech or Steel Series. I love the G Pro X just wish it had bluetooth so I could also use it on my phone when travelling.

Arctis 9 on sale (normal disclaimer its evetech)

I dont have much Faith in Steel Series, I've loved my headset (Arctis 7) but it felt like it crushed my head, and Im unsure if the 9s will have the same problem.

Their support in SA is also horrid, Logitech, on the other hand, gave me a new mouse after my G Pro Shroud edition started having button issues, won it from Evetech and they didnt have a warranty because it was a Giveaway, spoke to Logitech told them Id had it only 1 year and they sent me another one 2 weeks later from the US. So Im inclined to go for Logitech. How do you find the sound quality on the G pro X? Is yours wireless

Don't have a Logitech Headset but heard good things (Have a G513 keyboard and G Pro wireless mouse so big fan of Logitech). I am personally Saving up for the Sony xm5, not gaming headsets but can be used for gaming at my level. You can maybe also check out Corsair they also have good gaming headsets

I have the same problem, and I'm looking at replacing my Arctis 7 with Logitech. BIL has the G935 set and it is quite impressive. Also doesn't break your skull after a few minutes
