Help! Audi S3 or VW Golf R?

This is the worst e-peen contest in the history of the internet... Neither of you even own any of the cars you're bitching about.

I might have understood this angst and bull**** if you felt threatened that the very expensive car you just bought was crap but this is ridiculous.

adamr has owned them. I'm not bitching about anything and I couldn't care less. Simply acting as his 'spokesman' since he got tired of directly engaging with Splinter for, well, obvious reasons.

Umm. I own the M235i. I test drove all the other cars in this debate before spending R600 000 plus on the car I chose.

Umm - proof of what? I made the comment that I thought the M235i was quicker in 0-100kmhs than the Golf R in SA. It was called misinformation by adamr. I have given a link to show this. In fact - you chaps need to disprove this.. ;)

Firstly - you are a lying piece of squirming embarrassment. You are not his "spokesman". After adamr "promised" not to post anything further here; you took it upon yourself to carry on the debate. By posting his pm's to you under your nick.

I challenged you as to this; you kept quiet.

You carried on posting as if it was you; then it was proven by me you just a deceitful little shyte-stirrer.

Then adamr posted how he specifically told you NOT to quote him....

No he has not. He claims to have owned the Golf R. That is all.

In fact - does anyone here know adamr in real life? The dude who has owned all these cars. He claims that his latest is a Merc A45 AMG.

Well, I challenge him to a little drag race. Stock on stock.

And who cares anyway, how can there be 20 pages of this garbage.

Whats more irritating is all parties actually have relevant and useful information, but its degenerated into a girls playground spat.

Why not just stop all the rubbish and talk about cars, maybe have a beer...now thats a great idea

So stick to just this point here. Lets conclude on this one. you think we can do this? simple request ... but somehow i doubt you would. and all i will end up saying is "told you so, cant argue with this guy, because he has no evidence to back anything he says"

This is one of the more "derailed" threads that I've seen in quite a while...

Nonetheless, the information together with various pro's and con's was really interesting and I also became quite curious.

The subsequent result thereof is that I test drove a Golf R on Saturday and needless to say, my beloved G7 GTI is most definitely going to be traded in January when there are some good deals around.
 
Haha, good point - rather December then, the question is whether they will be able to do a deal in 4 days seeing that we're leaving for CT on Saturday...! :whistle:
