Help for LINKSYS modem setup - Telkom ADSL

Hi Guys, trying to help my niece in Cape Town.

Remote setup for a LINKSYS wag200g ADSL Router/Gateway from Dublin (Ireland) is not too easy...

Anyone has the parameters to setup the ADSL line on the Modem interface ?
We get the ADSL connection, but not Internet access (no IP adress is given).

VCI=35 and VPI=8 are setup Ok.

DSL modulation ??? <-- that could be a problem.

Password was given by Telkom over the phone (!) and did not contain capital letters, just lower case (strange).

A screenshot of the right values for the "Setup>basic setup" page would be awesome...

We use PPPoE here in SA, don't forget.

You have to connect to the Telkom site to verify the ADSL if it's a new one.

You need to visit this page (http://www.telkom.co.za/verifyadsl) to verify the line before you can connect.

If you've done that and it still doesn't work, then I'd say it was an account authentication problem, lower case passwords don't sound unusual, both of mine are lowercase.

If all else fails, you can but a pre-pay ADSL voucher (whichwill give you a new username/password) and see if you are able to connect with that.
