Help getting ADSL

Hi guys. Me again. I want to get ADSL for my house. However I stay in a complex and it don't seem that here is Telkom lines yet. Can you please assist how I must make. And also different packages. I am a heavy internet user, DL regularly and also use it for online gaming. What the best package for me.

You didn't sepcify a budget. Call Telkom on 10219 tell them you want a 4meg line.

When it's installed you go here to sign up for a GOLD account.
 
So how much would the 4meg line rental be per month? And thanx for the link. That a sure route to go.

4Meg is R413 I think.

The reason I recommended the GOLD account is because you said you are a heavy user and wont get AUP bull****.
 
If you are in a complex without Telkom copper infrastructure, you could be in for a problem. It usually means digging up paving etc. by Telkom to pull the copper in and chances are they won't go though all that effort just for your house (let alone the body-corporate).

Start looking for a wireless solution.
 
Yes the thought went through my mind. Do you guys know of any wireless solutions or where I can look?

I'd recommend going to the closest Telkom Direct store (at least to the fourways one) and speak to the manager, he'd be able to give you some insight into if it's possible. I find the 10219 guys just useless.

I used to 40 man raid C'thun in WoW on iburst and it was perfect stable 400 ping. Guess it depends on the coverage in your area.
