HELP! Internet keeps losing connection! Line? Router? ISP?

Just another quick question guys.. Signal does not quite reach my PS3 which is a couple rooms away. What would be the best apparatus to buy to extend the signal? I'm not too sure what the difference between an access point and a range extender is either.
Any specific device you would recommend? I wouldn't mind getting another TP-Link product off www.dbg.co.za again! Their service was brilliant

Forgot to mention yesterday did you try changing your wireless channel to anything but 11 sometimes products around your area affects your wireless if they on same channels
