Because Knysna is special. Beautiful place; I would love to be able to retire there. Have had the best vacations of my life in Knysna and surrounds.

And yet you're acting like a kid. Commenting is the right thing to do. Your arguments against it have been addressed and finally won't do it because I guilted you on it.

You know the OP and title were mainly because I knew it would get attention and have some longevity, but to be honest I'm beginning to think there is truly something wrong with many MyBB members.

Be a petulant child then. It also helps in a way you can't seem to see.

I agree, a very sad world we live in.

Whilst people started fleeing their homes from the fires in Knysna, people started looting and steeling from said homes.

There is nothing wrong with me. I feel sorry for what has happened to them but I just dont feel the need to single out a one off event when hundreds of people die each year of fires in informal settlement, etc due to the poverty stricken socio-economic environment they live in. Wish these companies who are now trying to buy social capital will try to make a real difference in peoples lives where such event are a regular occurrence. Hell some of them are using it as marketing strategies now which makes me question their motives. Now slate me for saying this.

So you wont do one little thing to help, because the motives of those offering to help must be pure? Because a child getting a blanket or food when they're cold and hungry care why they're been given a blanket or food?

You guys can't see the opportunity and future opportunities for your "principles". All you have to do is make a comment in a thread and get on with your life, yet you'll take the time, out of your presumably busy day, to type a paragraph on why you can't be bothered.
