Is your license pro or home?

Is it prompting you for a licence key? If not probably pulling it from the UEFI and activating the version you have.

How to Upgrade From Windows 10 Home to Pro
https://www.howtogeek.com/234946/how-to-upgrade-from-windows-10-home-to-windows-10-professional/

You’ll need to start the upgrade from the Settings app. To open it, open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings”.

Select “Update & security”, and then select “Activation”. You’ll see the edition of Windows 10 you have displayed here.

To upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Professional, click or tap the “Go to Store” button in the Activation pane.

The Windows Store app will open to a special “Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro” screen. From here, you can click or tap the “$99.99” button to purchase the Windows 10 Professional upgrade form the Store like you’d purchase anything else from the Store. You’ll have to provide your Microsoft account information and payment details.

If you have a Windows 10 Pro product key, you can select the “I have a Windows 10 Pro product key” and enter the product key to upgrade.

You should be able to go to your windows installation and "change key", enter your pro license and it should update the windows install and also the UEFIwindoze.PNG

Your BIOS/UEFI has the key in it, so it will use that key because it finds it, all disks have the all the versions windows 10 (but only 32bit ones or 64bit ones) on it.

Go google how to upgrade home to pro with the key you have. Should be quite easy.

EDIT: just do what DanDango said.

ive tried the change product key and gives me an error, You know what F** this im taking this machine to notebook comapany

i dont have time to screw around with settings and stuff

seriously why make it so hard ?

He should still be able to install it because ive done that before,

The laptop had a Single Language licence and I was able to install Pro but couldnt activate it due to version mismatch. Once i reinstalled SL it self activated.

Download a proper W10 Pro ISO, there is no way you can install Win10 Pro and it will install Home.
Nope. Windows 10 is not asking for a key as Home licence is buried in the BIOS and Home version is installed as others already pointed out. For upgrade user needs a retail Pro keys. OEM keys won't work.

You are being influenced by the other thread. It doesn't matter in your case.

How? Win7 Pro + DAZ loader. Validate online, then generate digital certificate or upgrade straight away from Win 7.
