Help me choose a camera

My boss is buying a new point and shoot camera the decision has boiled down to two camera's:

The Canon Ixus 950IS and Ixus 960IS.

The difference between these camera's is mainly Megapixels but reviews on the internet state things such as a better flash, more sturdy contruction (titanium casing) BUT it doesn't have a standard viewfinder.

Is the 960 worth the increase in price?

Both the 950 and the 960 seem to have optical viewfinders.

Whats the price difference? The 960 is the update to the 950 so it should be considerable.

I have used the predecessor, the 850 IS, and personally consider it the best compact P&S.

If there's not a big price difference between the 950 and 960 then the choice would be easy, go for the later model for the upgrades even though they may be minor.
