So one can get the uncapped 23:00 to 18:00 for R250pm, and then put a R50 limit on the on peak data (thus 50GB) and thus you pay R300 a month and there is no OOB?

The uncapped part yes. It’s a bolt on package. Their price however is R50 for 1GB meaning if you have a limit of 300 bucks and you get the bolt on package for 250 bucks You will only be able to essentially use 1GB during peak time which will get depleted in no time. But have uncapped data between 11pm to 6pm the following day

Im using the R250 19hours uncapped deal amd let me tell you, its bloody awesome! My download speeds is like 40-50mbps and it works like a charm. All you have to do is set your spend limit to R250 and make sure it on then you good to go.

Yes as that is their standard pricing. They only have one rate. R50 a gig. The 250 bucks uncapped is a bolt on package that you choose to have or add and it’s not set or included automatically.

I can confirm though that it’s awesome. Speeds are great as mentioned above and as long as you have coverage you are good. Keep in mind that it’s only 4G so if you plan to use a 3g modem it won’t work.

Then they are all set. Should work in that router. I believe sign up and sim delivery is R120. Should be as easy as plug and play once they get the sim.

You can also set your spend limit to R0 meaning data stops during peak times. They include 14 days of uncapped peak with the sim. Not sure if you can use that during off peak as well.

What happens at 6PM if you have a R250 limit, lets say I have an active download, would it just stop at 6PM sharp or is there a slight delay to finish the download?

For accuracy: With the uncapped option you can set the spend limit to R250 = uncapped 23:00 - 18:00, no internet 18:00 - 23:00.

So you have to include the unlimited even though it's a separately added package?

Yes, so the minimum spend is R250 if you want uncapped and no peak R50/GB charges.

I tried to get mine to R250 end of September by turning off my router the evening of 30 September and changing the spend the next day (on another internet connection) to R250 but strangely it has used some data and I could only set it to R251. Will try again end of this month.

honestly , first world internet, in a 3rd world country.

wish our service providers would finally realize how (artificially) expensive they have made data.
