Help Thor Decide.

New plan

Liquid cooling,

That should free up some space?

My CPU cooler is massive and the card coolers are ridiculous hence the need for an upgrade to something small and nippy.

Buy a Xbox or PS4 put disk in and enjoy gaming. If you want to prove you have a bigger stack learn to develop and build a cool application.

Waiting for the hammering 2 start master race will rise

You think you are inside the Mac Ecosystem.

I have all the devices on that list of yours, except the Mac Pro as I don't need it But I do have an Air. The only thing that's brand new is my MBP. I also have the Airport Extreme for good measure.

Like I said, it most certainly didn't cost me R100k. Just be smart with what you buy and when you buy it.

I actually dunno this popped up in my feed thought it was funny at the time but then read the subject again and this is some serious modding stuff. Like people in basements do with leather, whips, chains and pets. I am scared please delete me.

:confused::confused::confused:

Water cooling need a water reservoir and lots of pipes that are often not particularly flexible.

Water cooling setup when you're not gaming or shooting for overclocking records makes little sense.

Well at the moment the card is taking up 4 psi slots and 2 extra stata ports with its mamamoth cooler and the cpu cooler is heavy as hell and bulk.

You are all over the place with decisions.

What is your current budget, money you already have.

List the build you are looking at.

Definitely need to go with tray cpu's off carbonite to save money, but you are banned lol

Heck you buy everything from there.

GPU as someone stated,since you don't game.http://www.wootware.co.za/zotac-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-zt-p10510b-10l-4gb-gddr5-128-bit-oc-pci-e-3-0-desktop-graphics-card.html?utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=banner&utm_content=Zotac+GeForce+GTX+1050+Ti+4GB+GDDR5+Graphics+Card&utm_campaign=featured%20product

Read through & still can't figure out why you need a Quadro and an upgraded system for your Excel sheets .

I would just go for a multi screen setup with 4-6 screens with something like this.

No fancy shmantzy graphic card, but just something that would allow me to tile the screens or have multiple combinations of display options..

I sold a quadro to someone for that including video wall screens

Free up space? Why do you need to free up space?
You still want to go intel, right? The stock intel coolers are quite small.
Or do you just want to transplant your whole machine into a smaller case, throw away the coolers and water cool? For your needs watercooling just sounds like a silly idea.
You are not going to overclock, you are not going to strain your GPU. You are not going to strain your CPU for long periods, unless I'm missing something? Watercooling is a LOT more bulky than your stock GPU and CPU coolers.

That's what I want yes.

A small little NUC size thing and two screens

True let's scrape the water cooling that reservoir is massive.

I just wish younger me was not so into fancy gimmicks.

Young me should have bought a mini atx

You made it to the top of Tapatalk's emailed thread suggestions.

eh - I'd stick to a standard sized case since you've got it already. NUC brings its own set of headaches with it.

Thread whiplash is real.
I don't have a standard case I have a bulk as fck fugly thing.

My motherboard is too God damn big it sucks.

I'm looking at Carbonite now going rates etc.

I either want to sell or maybe swop it for Intel.

Because even if I get the small graphics the mobo is where restrictions lie in terms of scale down ability.
