Hep B vaccine

Not everything has got a vaccine. Are you actually this fcking stupid or is it bible induced? If you dont want to have the vaccine, dont have the vaccine. If you are not sure then go pray to jesus about it and ask for guidence. Dont make stupid arguments.

If there was a vaccine for Hep C and Herpes I would have that also. If it is a vaccine preventable disease, then it should be utilized.

Before you embarrass yourself further, I believe he's an atheist.

Not throwing a tantrum. But not going to be dictated to or have a debate with a religious nutcase that for some reason has problem with people wanting to protect themselves against Hep B seeing that there is a affordable vaccine freely available. That to me is not rational as he claims it is and I think he is trolling to get a reaction out of me and I am not going to induldge him any further. I am certainly not going to ask for this thread to be closed. Why would you say that? Have I ever actually done that?

Religious nutcase? Semaphore? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! *breath* WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm all for vaccines, I am however not for them when there are other actions that can be taken to prevent infection besides infection.

Asking in the swinging thread if the OP has accepted jesus? That is the impression I got.

Anyway, he made his point, I made my point...we are not going to agree and just going to induldge him.

SO back on topic -
Ockie you dating a Paramedic now?
<Insert Offensive joke about ambulance and getting loaded from the back here>

No no. We have just been chatting. We going to try and meet this weekend. And there will be no dating. He has husband.

what makes you think I'm older?
And nope never had dentistry - I recall we did get free mouth wash a few times though.

All we got was those pills you chewed and then it showed how disugsting your teeth are with plaque and you had to do the walk of shame back to class. :)

Just out of interest, I briefly saw last night on a government website of some kind that babies are being vaccinated against Hep B. Was late and just briefly looked, but if babies are being vaccinated then it would appear that the Hep B have made its way into the routine vaccine regimen ... or in some countries at least. Will look into it more tonight.

Makes sense it is a lot more infections than HIV - IIRC even kids playing a bit rough and getting a few small cuts and if one of em has Hep B chances are very high the other kid can get it - so not only Sexualy Transmitted.

Then I dont see any reason why ANYONE should be against someone getting vaccinated or thinking it is a stupid idea or going overboard because then you might well "vaccinate against everything".

Do vaccines today still make you feel ill? When I had my shots (you know as a kid where they stick that round thinig in your upper arm with all the little needles and it left that "flower scar") that night I was horribly horribly ill. but the next day or the day after I was fine. Do vaccines still do that?

My youngest is 7 months old, so we've been through all the vaccines to date. Each time they said beware of flu-like symptoms and such after the vaccines, and each time there was nothing.

(As a side note, we did these - and will continue with the rest - at the local government clinic, and the service has been fantastic)
