Sure, gotcha on that. I was more or less asking rhetorically what they hope to achieve by demanding to be hired by the businesses they are disrupting.
I am quite sure that there are many protestors in that group who is desperate for employment, but these individuals should make a personal appointment with an employer. Highlighting their situation and grievances in a personal capacity which has a much better chance of being taken forward for a possibility of employment. There are employers who will make their time available, but you need to go to them and ask for that opportunity.
Willingness goes a long way for the interest of an employer. The way the protestors are going now is a possibility for ending up in employment in a position and business which isn’t desirable. They will be unhappy and that causes more issues. Yes, some will find their perfect job.
I doubt any business, there, will put their foreign employees on the street, they are a valuable asset and human resource under the current climate.
