Good morning,

Herotel are my fibre provider in Kriel ( don't judge ). I am at my wits end as to why i am without internet access. The router is connected, and every no and again, the connection is lost for 20-30 seconds and just comes back.

I have only EYEPTEEVEE at home and this loss of signal is a pain in the back side.

Anyone else have this issue with Herotel?

They installed at my place two days ago and I had the same problem but only on my phone. The connection on my other devices was rock solid. I found the problem was the fact that the tech combined the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz on the router and my phone was jumping between them, I renamed each so they were seperate and connected my phone to the 2.4Ghz one and it's been good ever since.

Thanks for the reply..

How did you manage to get access to the router settings?

I had to call them. But the access details for your router should be:

Go to http://192.168.0.1
Username: admin
Password: HerotelAccountNr

The bold part should be your account number from when you signed up. Something like ABC123
