Higher ADSL upload speeds free

Any idea if the trial was successful? I'm doing a lot of uploads and can hardly wait for 12:01 AM, 1 April 2008. 1 April?, it will be a very bad joke if I look tomorrow morning and the upload speed is still on 384... :eek:
 
I really hope so! My xbox gaming experience will improve dramatically, erm *cough*, I mean I will be able to upload files quicker at work :)
 
pfffft....

I still have my 384K upload :(
Just restarted my router and my line resynched and was still @ 4096/384

Guess they started planning their April fools a lot sooner than we expected... :-/
 
DownStream Connection Speed 4096 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 384 kbps :(

Which was yesterday, so I'm saying we shouldn't expect the service to go live the next day. The pilot might not have been completely succesful, and it surely takes some time to convert everyone to the new speeds in any case.

I disagree, the article was posted 13-02-2008, that gave Telscum a little over a month to run the pilot and gradually upgrade thousands of users, did you even read reports of "1" member on the forum who had the new upload speed? I didn't, so I call BS on this :p

Some people got upgraded to 512K and 640K upload during February. :(

I hope they do upgrade us soon :D
