Getting adequate speeds from a Redmi 9A CAT 4 phone. Would the right type of router boost these speeds significantly?

Congestion on towers?

Fibre is basically everywhere in our residential areas and being subscribed to, so will take the gap and hopefully get good speeds with LTE and pay less.

The same reply I received. No plans to fix the speed problems in the near future. The best speed I ever managed was nearly 7Mbps. Average used to be 2-3Mbps

Still works in car router, which would not be on the supported list.

I notice in the morning that sometimes my router's network is disconnected and won't reconnect.

A router reboot seems to do the trick, but it's an extremely annoying and infrequent occurrence.

For some reason it registers on the 3g network and then there's no data coming through. Restarting every couple of hours

Same on my side.
I am roaming on MTN 4G believe, if that is linked to the issue

Fibre was down for a bit and had to use this as a back up for a while.
The speed and quality looks like it is still holding well.
I hope this product is not discontinued, it is a good back up.
