Home Printer - School projects + Photos

Hi,

I'm looking for a home printer with "iOS airprint" functionality that can handle school projects, so a mix of text, graphics and images however if there isnt too big a price jump it would be great to be able to print photos to put into wall mounted photo frames.

Is Inkjet the way to go, or these multi independant color printers or laser?

What would your two or three recomendations be?

If you are going to do lots of printing, then the ink tank printers are the way to go. Been running some Epson printers in office environments for over a year and they are still on the original supplied ink bottles.

Epson ink tank, 1.5 years now in my home office and still on the original ink bottles, paper literally costs me more than ink with this thing.
If you are after serious photo printing, it won't do though, for photo printing to put up against your walls, rather go to a specialist photo printing place.
