Homemade Pizza

How does that work?
Looks similar to the Ooni 12 and as well as the Milex people were buying last year. There's a gas burner at the rear so you need to keep an eye on things or your pizza is going to get extra crispy.

That is a very good price considering what the Ooni sells for

Sorry, have never had one. So it works with gas then I assume. I know it says outdoors, but can it be used indoors as well , like a gas stove.

I don't see why not, just make sure you have good ventilation

That's right - gas.

They all state emphatically that you mustn't use them indoors... but I do. I bought a carbon monoxide detector to be on the safe side.

The indoor gas rule is only for nanny states, this is why I love Africa. We get away with murder.

The stone might be a couple of cm smaller than my Milex but it's possibly thicker which helps.

Thanks, saw your post yesterday and picked one up this morning.
they didn't have a display unit at the store and no further info on the box.

so if anyone is wondering it is just the pizza oven and stone included in the box,
bought a bullnose regulator, pipe and pizza peel at builders,
which was the closest store form my house.

Nice - let us know how it works out.

If you don't already have one an IR thermometer will be worth its weight in gold.

"never use this gas stove indoors..."

wait what

I'm pretty sure it's 100% safe to use indoors (gas wise) unless they're worried about the heat underneath which could crack / melt a countertop? you'll need to test that after a pizza.

I think they're more concerned about carbon monoxide than your countertops... and potential liability. Under certain conditions mine has triggered the CO detector in the kitchen. The flame definitely isn't as clean as my kitchen stove.

That said the countertop does get really hot so I put a large tile under it.
