Hi Awad,

your Graph and usage is correct and complies with our FUP as detailed on our web site and in our Terms and conditions applicable to our home broadband product.

if you use 100% of your line capacity for 1 hour you will reach the FUP and remain under the FUP until such time as you stop the high amount of usage on your link.

Once you stop this usage after 1 hour your link will recover and your full speed is available again.

If you would like to run large unattended downloads i would suggest upgrading your line speed or doing this through the night to ensure it does not impact your internet experience.

How will you justify your FUP?

Hi Awad,

Yes correct if you keep your usage at 100% you will remain under the FUP, as per my previous post.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply.

Q: How will you justify your FUP continue after no use between 4h00 to 10h00 and you were still throttling my connection?

If I upgrade my connection from 2Mbps to 5Mbps then it mean I will only allow to use 2.5Mbps because of your FUP/QoS as graph proved that I have 2Mbps connection and I am only allowed to use 1Mbps.
