How do you get over an ex...?

Dude I know he feeling. Ended a 2 year relationship with my GF last week.:(
All I can say is Get her out of your life, Box everything you got from her, and delete her phone nr's!

Sleep with her good friend or a chick she REALLY despises... A chick should never hurt an oke, it should be the other way round - didn't you ever learn that?!

I had some fantastic advice from forum members, the best thing is to realise that life does go on. Go out have fun, meet new people, party with your friends etc.

It hurts and will hurt for time to come, however it will not last forever. I am still working through mine, heck my first ex took me close to over a year to work through.

Drinking and getting revenge is not the answer, most important have NO contact with her. As hard as it is, it helps the most.
 
I've been in this same situation. Broke up with my ex in January and have been trying to get over her for about 8 or so months. She had no problem getting over me but for some reason i still wanted her even though she started dating other guys.
What i have learned is that the only way to get over her is to totally cut her out of your life. I started doing that 3 weeks ago and on Friday for the first time in 9 months i chatted up another girl:)

So in my opinion Time(9 months) and no contact is the best way to get over an ex.

Get drunk, get laid, and if you do it really spectaculaly, you will be left with a 2 day hangover and skanky female that you will have to try and get rid of, wont give you time to worry about the ex. ;) :D
