Moved to durban from a colder province, I was born in the cold ,molded by it,I hadn't seen warm weather till I was a man.

Enjoy cold weather.just put socks on my feet and close the windows at 4pm I'm sorted. Although lowest seen was 9 degrees this year

Fireplace for the couple of nights a year it gets unbearable. Otherwise just warmer clothes and more blankets.

Anthracite fire running nearly 24/7. It's so much cheaper than running a single heater, never mind 4-5 (because if I run one, everyone wants to run one).

Tried OB's. Bought 4x2liter casks Tuesday last week on special.....on the last one now. Never again cause I'm drinking it like cool drink and it makes me wobble and jirre no. Back to beer rather for me. Even my farts smell of OB's.

Warm pants and a jacket - all sorted. Even have a window open so the cat can come and go and I'm not running the AC unless there's excess solar to get rid of.
I love the cold - I'll take this weather 80% of the time with a smile.
