How do you let out rage?

Driving range. BEAT THE SNOT OUT OF THOSE CUTE LITTLE WHITE DIMPLED BALLS!!!

Then home for a shag. :D

You want me to have a ****ing heart attack? Golf is the silliest ****ing thing I've ever seen done in my life, and I've seen some weird **** before. (Yes, that means my rage will turn into Hulk rage as I can't hit that ****ing ball)

Might not sound like an actual answer to the question, but finding ways not to get so peeved in the first place will be a lot more effective than trying to resolve the problem afterwards. It's a perfect world suggestion, I know, but controlling your emotions in the first place might be a better start than looking for ways to vent...

So it's work related. The only people who can really piss me off are family members and work colleagues people in those to groups can get under your skin sometimes through stupidity.

Scream! As loud and hard as you can! In your car if you are shy! And keep screaming till you can't anymore...

FFS you live in CT??!!! Hit the beach, take a nice long walk alone the beachfront, surely the sound of the sea will temper your inner demons??!!

When in a rage, I keep quiet, avoid people and either game or work or both with earphones on and listen to nine inch nails or other hard music (any work, like springcleaning stuffed deurmekaar drawers), for normal anger I water the garden, the garden always calms me down.

When raging, the intent and level of insults I can conjure are so intense that people reel from it for years - thus my goal when raging is - to avoid any verbal intercourse.

+1
I find I get very productive when I'm upset. The more upset, the more productive. By the time I've finished the chore I started, I feel better

LOL. I love to beat the dimpled balls, but when I'm angry I just can't do it. If I tried I would probably have a heart attack.

I find that working it out in my head helps, unless its frustration due to a feeling of helplessness. Then I find a quiet place and plan my revenge..
Not that I ever actually get to execute those plans.. But planning them in detail, doing the recon and knowing that, if I wanted, I could execute those plans and exact my revenge, gives me back a feeling of control over the situation. And it makes me feel like the better person for NOT taking revenge.

Then I go back and with a clear head start to act against the thing they've done to me. I find that once the aggravation has cleared, I find the simplest ways to turn the nastiest plans around on their authors..

Definitely perfect world, and trust me, I'm less likely to burst or get angry now than I did several years ago, it took a lot for me to be enraged like this today

Creative outlet for anger & fury

My method is in one of my blog posts. I couldn't be bothered to rewrite it so you can check on my sig.

Ha yes, I agree (as per your blog)

Yes, interesting also that writing can be so fluid when you're angry, how the words march across the empty spaces, conquering and passionate, bloodink flowing, adrenaline pumping, focused concise words heavy with meaning, the sound of the keyboard emulating automatic gunfire, utterly rendered and frozen in time.

Creatively explosive, the words untainted, pure of wrath, frustration and passion so feverishly exploited.

An excellent choice :p

thread = funny.

i normally go for a drive, hit the gas, turn some raging music up till my eardrums hurt and vloek at the top of my voice.

then think of a more constructive way of dealing with the problem.

aah. much better.

When I'm in a rage I either work (anything even if it's cleaning the toilet) while listening to Black metal and then I bottle it it up and save it for some time in the future. Unhealthy - I know but it works for me and a bunch of my friends. Now that I think about it there are a few of my friends (including me) who've actually gotten into a fight over something small and ended up releasing years worth of anger and resentment. I just try not to be by anyone when I'm like that and my close friends watch for people who may stray to close to me. I actually nearly killed a friend 1 time while like that. Thankfully commonsense took control and I calmed down before I hit him with a sign post.:(

Best things to do - Music, Nature and someone you can talk/vent to.

stress is the confusion created when the mind overrides the body's desire to choke the living **** out of some ******* who desperately deserves it
