How easy do you forgive?

How easily do you forgive? Do you tend to forgive certain people more easily than others?

I forgive quick - but I find it harder to forget - e.g. next time im going to come down on you like a ton of bricks - fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...

I forgive easily... what does holding a grudge achieve? It just makes the person who wronged you have more meaning in your life.

Also forgiving easily has ulterior motives as it usually puts the wrongdoer on the back foot and makes them feel worse!

Forgiveness is easy peepz, but you all know the saying, once bitten, twice shy.

So I might say, forgive you, but everything you do after you've fscked with me, is watched, double checked etc - so yeah, I'll never trust you again - But I just won't smack you upside the forehead

I would e.g. forgive my partner coming late or forgetting my birthday or having too much to drink, but I would not forgive him cheating on me or being violent towards me. Some things are just dealbreakers.

1. The person realises their error and apologises
2. Is punished or does something good to make up for bullsh&tting me then yes.

If either is not fulfilled I don't forgive and not only do I not forget but I remember.

Yeah, no matter what it is its better to forgive if you can though, even if it takes a while. Its a cliche but in the end you only hurt yourself if you hold grudges.
