How hard is DSTV trying to alienate it's client base??

Also just saw this, what is the point in them doing this? Basically charging you for the streaming?

Yeah, their latest. A nice bit of kit actually. I think if you are on the Premium bucket, its worthwhile to get one. Have sent a few to Malawi for relatives when they are on special
 
I was underwhelmed with the old HDPVR.. but this new Xplora is a much better attempt by them if you ask me.
 
This change applies to both Supersport live streaming and CatchUp/Now. Also online and on mobile devices. They're a bunch of thieves! This has been provided for free for many years and now all of a sudden you have to pay for it! So basically premium subscribers who stream online and don't have PVR are getting a TRIPLE price increase in April. The standard increase and an additional R80 per month.

This is nothing new. They've been doing this for months. The only difference is that you now have to pay for it and buy a PVR for some obscure reason.

Also, it's only streaming 23 channels at the moment.
 
Since I pay for my parents HD PVR subscription and they don't do streaming, I'm willing to share it with someone.

Edit: Offer closed. Tommyboy was first.

This sucks. Still able to stream from Android app but that probably won't last long either.

If anybody wants to stream IPL games and has an Unotelly sub you can stream from StarSports' website (www.starsports.com).

Just ensure you are using a Dynamo enabled server in Unotelly and set your StarSports region to India.

Stream quality is unfortunately quite poor.
 
Just discovered this little surprise too. Combined with load shedding it's a great combination. Multichoice is amazingly short-sighted.
