How has Stephen Hawking survived?

Both Mugabe and Hawking are in the same boat - they are headed for damnation and the only thing thats keeping them alive is the longsuffering of God towards them. God acts whichever way He pleases, in that He can take a life away from a young baby who is yet to explicitly sin against Him, yet tolerate a Mugabe and Hawking who continually provoke Him to anger. But at the end of it all, God doesn't tolerate wickedness forever, and both Mugabe and Hawking will die and face Him on Judgement Day. The same applies to you.

Nelson Mandela died and he was surrounded by so many professional people - so professional people have nothing to do with it. Hawking will eventually die with those professional people around. At the end of the day it is God who counts the days of us all.

No its not.

People will die, the body eventually can't keep functioning, even with all the professional people in the world trying to make it happen. It has sweet FA to do with this "God" of yours.

Crock of horseshyte.

Mugabe is still alive because he has stolen countless millions from his country, and uses that money to pay for medical practitioners in the best parts of the world to help keep him alive.

Stephen Hawking is a brilliant mind, and the NHS will do whatever they can to help him survive for as long as possible.

I think what rza is saying is that no matter what, you will die when God determines you to die and nothing can change that. I think.

So the decision was made to not let the baby live & find God for himself during his life just because he *might* sin against God one day, yet Hawkins & Mugabe is given another few years to find their path to God and sort their faith out despite their continued public wickedness towards Him? Talk about favouritsm.

If I was the baby I'd probably say to God 'Hold on a minute .. we're all supposed to face the same judgement despite having given wildly differing opportunities or chances to redeem ourselves'? How's that even fair?
 
Think of a train heading for a cross roads. There is a baby on one track, and 10 people on the other. Who do you save? If you save the 10 people, it means that the baby's life was already determined to end. That your decision had already been determined before you made it.

It's like God said "This baby will die on this day, and Beerisgood will do it.

That is an utterly stupid thing of you to say.

God knows everything right? Past, present and future right? So he knows at which point SH will convert right? So the premise of your theory is that God is "giving him a chance", no ... just no.... THINK for just a minute. So if he never repents then why the hell would God do that in the first place? Or are you saying by virtue of God sparing him, he definitely will repent and be "saved" at some stage?

The doctrine of "God's decree" means that not only does God knows what will happen in the future, but He also decree that certain things should happen, which they do, while also allowing other things to happen. There's no way of knowing if God decreed Stephen's salvation until Stephen is saved.
