How is Audi A5 2010?

This is the hottest car on the road right now IMO and I would've definitely bought one if I didn't purchase a house.

Who did you use for your warranty and what plan?
I have 10,000kms left before I finish my motor plan and need to look at a warranty.
It is through SA Warranties. It is Plan B due to age of vehicle at the time. (Less than 8 years and less than 160 000km.

Plan A is less than 5 years and 110 000km. Last option is Plan C - older than 8 years and more than 160 000km.

Thanks man. Will check them out. Seems I may just be able to squeeze Plan A.

I'd be interested in a thread focussing on the experiences of those who've taken out third party warranties. I've heard a mixed bag of feelings about them.

R7,000 does seem like a fairly small amount for a fair bit of peace of mind.

On my Disco 3 it has paid itself in full already. Paid R13k and already claimed in the region of R21k. I take the Disco to Landyworx who handles the claims as well. That could also play a role I guess.

Nothing major on the Audi.

What sort of work has been done?

I agree with you... That's why I wanna make a bold statement. But I have to be ready for the expensive service and stuff like that.

Jip, that's me. I moved in at the beginning of December.
Getting rid of garden refuse was an absolute pain.

Judging by the cars your friends drive and you wanting to be different, why not go for an A3? For the same budget you will get a newer model under warranty etc. Unless you need the large vehicle but unlikely given its your first car

That's also an option to be considered. I never had love for the A3 but yesterday I saw one at work inside out it gorgy. And it's more economical like the A4 than that beast that I want.
