And what the **** is wrong with a simple, working .exe file? ****ing programmers making their **** intentionally difficult to use! What is wrong these people? I thought the point of writing a freeware application was for bragging rights! "My app is used by 10 000 000 000 people." "oooh!" "ahhh!" and so on.

And yes, we still send and receive dozens of faxes every week, just like millions of other companies worldwide, and I don't want to hear any more snooty comments about that.

Did you read and try the three options for Windows compiling with VS 2005 in the README file?

The last time I used VS was at varsity, 12(?) years ago, so I won't have 2005. Maybe 1999. The readme doesn't give any details about why there are three options. I've never used any of those libraries.

I don't get why the developer assumes that someone trying to upgrade to an IP PBX is able to compile their own programs.

Edit: Just looked up VS 2005 on TPB. 2.74GB. Are the libraries included with VS or the t38modem zip or do I have to track them down as well. None of this is obvious to me (a non-programmer).

OK, so I downloaded VS 2005 and tried to compile this piece of **** program. Guess what! Files are missing! No surprise really; the developer obviously wants as few users as possible. So I google for these files and can't find them, just more gibberish about compiling them yourself. Well **** you too, anonymous programmer. I'd rather buy a VoIP adapter for my analogue modem than waste my time trying to get your program working. You do realise that not everyone wanting to send a fax over IP is a programmer?

Dear google, index this, "t38modem is the worst program in the history of the universe."

You are complaining about something given away for free, don't look a gift horse in the mouth... If you don't like it then write your own or contribute to the project.

They've given jack **** away for free, and wasted my time in the process. There actions are nothing more than trolling. It's near impossible or maybe even completely impossible to get their "free program" working, so the polite thing to do would be to stick a big red "**** OFF" banner on the page, instead of a download link, and not waste everyone's time.

Hopefully my rant can save a few innocent victims from wasting their time with this crap.
