Yes I know honey is still sugar, but at least it's a natural source.
Evaporated cane juice is also natural

Ha ha, yes if you put it like that. But it gets reworked and refined many times before it gets to me.
The honey I can have straight from the hive if I like.
Hi guys,
I'm trying to cute down on my sugar intake, but looking at most products it's super hard. I used to eat sweetened yogurt in the morning, but those things are packed with sugars! So, I've decided to scout for a cereal. Wheat-bix and oats seem like winners. Any other suggestions? I'm also going to try and cut on sugary drinks - but that is super hard. I should probably start hitting the tea harder.
The rest of my meals are okay, as it's mostly proteins and lettuce.
I've recently got a shock reading of a cholesterol level of 10.1, but apparently sugar can spike it and I certainly have a **** load of sugar in my diet - a lot more than fats. I'm also not very willing to the idea of cutting out dairy. Dairy is just far too important for me.
My friend stop indulging too much on packaged sweets, always eat something sugary with water. I try not to eat sugary product after 2 pm because sugar is for energy, energy not used (inactive) turns to fats in the body. Dairy too I wld try to limit if I was you, cholesterol is a fat found in animal products (hence cream, meat & etc..)
Doesn't make it any better
Consumed cholesterol has no impact on your cholesterol count
What impact it then? Tell me then how do we get high cholesterol in our bodies.
It does, because honey at least has other benefits which sugar doesn't.
Also in switching to honey I take in a lot less sugar than when using sugar directly.

Seems at first reading to be written in the context of a carb rich diet... Then again, not had enough coffee this morning.
ja look, I wouldn't knock myself out using lots of honey as a sugar replacement, however on the face of this study it does seem to have a lot of positives
For LCHF'ers? I think with carb restriction making sure your blood sugar is stable, cutting it out on LCHF would be the better option. Using honey over normal sugar for those on carbier diets might be the way to go though.
