I really don't like fish when it's the whole thing with the head, fins and skin ... a neat little fillet that doesn't resemble the original creature works for me.

Haha :P I'm more likely to be able to score a demo test in an APC than a Grand encounter :)

Decided on some hake from fish aways tonight. No time like the present.

At the last fish braai I attended (with my steak), I dared my mate to eat the gills of the monster +-8Kg fish he caught spearfishing (can't remember the name, it was red though). Apparently goes well with a Captains...
 
Fishaways is crap in my experience. I actually prefer box fish to the crap they dish up. But maybe it'll be different at your outlet. Hopefully...

I don't have boxed fish at home, and they're the only fish outlet I know of...
 
Dinner here @McD's: fish n chips with a salad (lettuce, feta, onion, olives and cherry tomatoes) and some beetroot ...
 
I should get royalties on the cost of all the fish consumed tonight :D
 
Damn you... Now I want fish and chips... Pity there isn't a decent one in my area.

One mate use to eat a can of that stuff before going out to line his stomach for drinking, he reckon it worked wonders :D

I prefer the tuna in brine, preferably without mayo and cold.
 
Update: Had a hake burger from Fishaways. Actually tastes quite delicious, but my mind kept going "you're eating fish". Seriously had to think of other things whilst I ate it.
