How to use Cloudflare Warp Plus on your PC

Okay I think I got everything sorted out finally. Had to go manually looking for the xml file, which I eventually found.
@Bryn Where, may I ask, did you find the xml file?

I found what I believe is the equivalent file on my jailbroken iPad but in terms of deciphering which is the Private Key, Access Token, Account ID I'm none the wiser, although I might be prepared to hazard a guess....

For those on OSX , WARP also pretty straight forward

@sand_man My xml file looked nothing like that. I can't recall the location, but I was basically going through each folder in the root directory. Fortunately it didn't take long with what was effectively a blank installation in the Android emulator app.

This is what it looks like:

Code:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8' standalone='yes' ?>
<map>
    <string name="warp_plus_reward_info">{&quot;premium_data_bytes&quot;:0,&quot;referral_reward_bytes&quot;:1000000000,&quot;denylist&quot;:[{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;Netflix&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.netflix.mediaclient&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;BBC iPlayer&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.bbc.globaliplayerradio.international&quot;,&quot;bbc.iplayer.android&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;YouTube&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.google.android.youtube&quot;,&quot;com.google.android.apps.youtube.mango&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;DisneyLife&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.disney.disneylife_goo&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;Hulu&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.hulu.plus&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;HBO&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:true,&quot;android-packages&quot;:[&quot;com.hbo.hbonow&quot;]},{&quot;name&quot;:&quot;LAN&quot;,&quot;visible&quot;:false}]}</string>

    <boolean name="missing_splits" value="false" />
    <string name="installer_package_name">com.android.vending</string>
</map>
(Keys have since been refreshed, and I altered all sensitive data anyway)

warp_token, warp_private_key and warp_registration_id are what I used in the tutorial.

Excellent guide. Going to try put this on my EdgeRouter later today

Yeah sorry I could not remember the exact .xml file location as I already removed vmos and as for the root explorer app I just searched on google play and used the first one I saw.

Warps Plus is not a requirement but rather a nice to have if you want premium Cloudflare bandwidth. Otherwise free will work fine.

I did have Warp+ the entire time I've been using the service. Performance has been good other than the trash international upload. A real shame.

Mobile, ironically enough given the official app, is quite spotty I've noticed. Often it has zero throughput and no app has internet access. Toggling 1.1.1.1 off and on doesn't always do anything. Last night I had to just leave it off and deal with junk speeds, because most apps stopped working entirely.

I tried the Refresh Keys option in the settings but all it did was make me go retrieve the new info for the desktop connection. Everything is working fine atm on mobile with 1.1.1.1, but I have low confidence in that product since using it for barely half a day. Works amazingly well on desktop though, hilariously.

Mmmmm... I have root so am using Total Commander to browse the root directory and not an emulator. Can't find it. I find the Cloudflare application folder but no preferences xml within..... :cautious: Oh well, will keep trying..

There is a hidden Cloudflare folder away from the main app directory, on Android at least. Somewhere in the root structures.

Which root explorer app did you use? Total commander seems to be encrypting the key... :mad:

The one by Jrummy. Had to download from APK Mirror because the Play Store stopped being able to install apps.

Make sure you enable root privileges before browsing in the app btw.

Anyone have tried playing d3 via cloudflare warp? How was the latency? D3 is completely unplayable on my side :/ Thanks to WebAfrica.

Mmmm..... I'm getting the same result re private key from both apps. Doesn't look right!! (PS key edited for security purposes)....

@cavedog Thanks so much for this! I setup it up now and it's working like a charm. Such a lifesaver considering the international outage ATM.

EDIT:

PS- I see that Android TV is doesn't have 1.1.1.1 yet (side loading the app gave errors), is there a way we could emulate this kinda setup on Android TV?

Try NordVPN, can cancel within 30 days.

Are you in the Cape? Let me know if it works... ;)
Hahaha, in JHB! I got Cloudflare working but using a config file kindly shared by @cavedog

I wanted to try and set this up for myself though using a Warp + account I just purchased...

I'm just a Warp private key away!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!!

The private key should end with an equals sign.
