How young is too young?

I am not asking the legal status of said engagement. I am asking the social acceptability of possible future relationship. Noting that social values went out the door a very long time ago!

In my opinion two people at two different walks of life never work.

One in school one out. Won't work.

One studying one working, won't work.

Etc.

When people are at the same stage of life. Mortgages and cars and careers then age doesn't matter any more.

I have picked up something is amiss with her. going to school every day then rush off to work after school can not be easy or fun. She works 7 days a week for less money than my entertainment allowance a month. I take it her family is not well off. Maybe even that she does not have both parents as she always only speaks about her mother.

It is still to early for me to pry and ask too many questions and the like.

Right now I am doing it for myself. I need to relax and forget about my troubles. And she scores movie nights with the odd diner out.

Do you think you are being set up as a sugar daddy ? If that's not an issue for it, people will give you issues about the age thing but there is nothing really wrong about that age gap.

Your issues will come with her mental age.... and the money.

If you really care about her don't do it!!! It is not you who will be hurt most... but her rather. Let her be with her own age.. it is the one thing I regret, not being with someone my own age. She will thank you for it.

This is exactly like prices - if you have to ask, you can't afford it ;)

If you have to ask is she too young, she is.

Step away.

I know a guy who was in his twenties when he started a relationship with a girl who was still 13 at the time, and they stayed together the whole way through her High School until they got married. Now she's a stay at home mom in a small town, with two kids, and a constantly sad expression on her face. It breaks my heart every time I see her.

Nah this is too young....
I don't care if she makes you happy and whatnot but no... just no.

That was my mother biggest warning when I came to the big City. Leave the older men alone. :o

Still love them. Something about men that knows what they want and where they are going. Yummee
I listened to her and dated younger guys.

What a waste.

17 -31 might be a bit young. But hey. If it's legal who is stopping you.
But be careful of the dad. I got the hell from the moms. And it was only 7 years.

Oh and this is not going to be permanent. And don't do it because you feel sorry do it because you like her.

Older men is like dating girls with children, you know that is the size her ass will be. No need to worry about what she might look after pregnancy.
Older men has been there done that got the sowing wild oats out of the way. Young enough for a good party. Old enough to trust around your friends,If he has a boep you will not change him.

So much more yummeeness and experience in bed.

I love older men. :o

Unfortunately for me, older men are those that have one foot in the grave already. LOL. Can't actually comment though. All the guys I've ever been with were younger than me.

Oh yeah that brings me back to point. I'm "old" and I still behave like a child sometimes. 17 doesn't mean much without context. I was a very late bloomer. I was still very immature and naive until my late 20s. Everybody is different. BUT having said that - you're playing a dangerous game here. Doesn't matter how mature acting she is, at that age your hormones are still rampant and you don't have much real life experience. Seriously ask yourself when you really started feeling like an adult? Frankly all I see is a casual thing that is not gonna last long. If that's what you want then just be honest with her. She's too young to be promising forevers or anything like that.
