Don't go through too much trouble with the dongle. You have already done so much.

If I have to wait a while for the dongle it is also fine. Can connect via Ethernet if really needed. And can only really start using the system when the graphics card arrives anyway.
 
@Esquire, any idea when the Cape will have stock of Servers again? Placed my order this morning.

Holy Smoke you learn everyday

We have plenty of the AC Ryan stk# ACR-WN10002 in stock and according to my technical guys you can use these with a AC Ryan Media Player and with a normal PC, in three years of selling AC Ryan products I never knew you could do that

I have changed you order again to that dongle which Wireless N 300MPS adaptor

Miracle performed :D

I have been using that dongle with my micro server for the past year. The Ac Ryan remote packed up and could not find a replacement for that. So packed away the media player and moved on to the server.
 
Experienced the same great service from Esquire PE today. One phonecall and in 2hrs I had a cash account and a proforma invoice for a N45L. My couriers collected this afternoon.

I will definitely continue to use them!

We bring in spare remotes , also I am sure I saw on AC Ryan website the codes to program a Universal remote

Which vga cards that you stock will fit...? Also APoc184 can you blink me to the extra 2gb ram for R199 excl.? I looked earlier but couldn't find anything.

we have two sku's that are made to fit the first one is the Gigabyte stk#GV-N210D3-1GI @R349.00 excl which already has the LP bracket and second one is the Point of View stk#VGA-210-C1-1024 @R329.00 but you need to purchase the LP bracket

both are in stock and already on special
 
Also got the Gigabyte 210 above running in my N54L. Silent and cheap.

@Esquire I have to +1 the request of Fudzy about the IR receivers. Also, can you source 3 Year NBD Warranty-Extension Care Packs from HP for these babies?

I have to +1 this too... Use the XBMC remote app on my phone, but would be nice to get an "Esquire approved" receiver.
 
If I wasn't so fearful of my wife's wrath in purchasing ANOTHER Microserver I would love to work one into a proper little HTPC, like with a nice skin and VFD display and BD drive. Problem is my current HTPC is still going strong.
