Don't think so. Can you check the firmware version?

Also run ginggs MDMA utility and check what it says in the top right corner.

Lastly PM me the data number and I'll check if you're provisioned. I assume you're subscribed to the 3.6 service?

Driver version: 5.1.2535.0
Dashboard: VMC Lite 9.3.0.8

Ginggs MDMA utility wont run :(

Speed test to London

Down: 4434 Kbps
Up: 312 Kbps

7.2 Mbps speeds - is this correct??

Looks like it. We probably never took you off the 7.2 profile!

Will check your UPA settings.

I suspect you were never on the 'formal' 3.6 setting so the UPA activation last night missed you SIM.

I do not get over 3.6 at any other speed tests...may have been a glitch.

My HSUPA Speed on target

My speed results are on target using E272 with Mobile Partner 11.002.03.16.03 Software. I did subscribe to the "Free" 3.6kbps and renewed it when the R49 became payable.

My Speed results:
3100 kbps (387.5 KB/s Transfer Rate)
1145 kbps (143.1 KB/s Transfer Rate)
Ping: 114 Ms

I am pleased with the results and thank you Vodacom. Please maintain this speed please Vodacom.

Very nice. :)

I fully expect everyone to get good UPA, but it's nice to see 3.1 out of a possible 3.6 on DPA. Where are you based?

Won't it be great if we can get to a point where everyone sees these speeds, all the time.

@ ic, can we maybe move Anti's post to the speed results thread?

did you ever subscribe to the 3.6 service? After the free period?
Eh pardon the intrusion but what is Hsupa and where can I get it?

I too subscribed to the 3.6 service but apart from phoning and requesting the service I have heard nothing since so I wouldn't know if I am still provisioned for the service or not. My SP is Nashua mobile. Should I rather contact them for clarification?

High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (googled it). So is it available or experimental only?

These are really good speeds indeed. Now for cheaper after hours bandwidth to get those *paid for* tv series :D

Any suggestions for an abbreviation for HSDPA and HSUPA together? HSD+UPA?

Vodacom3g I would like to ask which of the cellphones are capable of 1.4 HSUPA.

The reason why I am asking is because I am due for an upgrade soon and I know that the Samsung G800 is capable of 7.2 HSDPA, but the question is, is it capable of 1.4 HSUPA?

I currently have the E220 and I am a 3.6 HSDPA subscriber so I thought that with this upgrade it might be my golden opportunity:)

To be honest I've got no idea...:o

Google?

Down: 2546 Kbps
Up: 1171 Kbps

Now that is better, thanks V3G!
