HTC DESIRE HD

So I sent Nashua Mobile a message on twitter earlier this week, and the replied saying that their procurement department is expecting stock at the end of November, so only 3 more weeks to go... hopefully!

We're in the same boat as the poor Apple product owners - Core has got them by the balls, just as Leaf has got all HTC owners by the balls. We're screwed. :sick:
 
This is bull. The N8 was released 2 weeks before the DHD, the N8 is making its rounds in SA very happily keeping the Nokia fanboys happy. now were here stuck waiting for Leaf to put Bull**** bloatware on the DHD.

I really really hope that is not the case & that we will get the phones straight from HTC's factory. If my phone has crappy Leaf software on it, I'm returning it ASAP.

Better not be, I'll make them take it off. I want a clean HTC image on mine!
 
Chill. None of my WinMo HTCs or my Desire had any traces of any Leaf fiddling whatsoever. They just seem a little inept when it comes to distribution, 'tis all.
 
Just got feedback from MTNSP "Seems the reason for the HTC Desire delivered instead of the Desire HD is that it is not properly loaded onto the system. We are awaiting procurement feedback in order for us to send you your device urgently."
 
By the time we get this HTC would have released the DHD v2.0 (12MP camera...) or a DHD mini tablet (7" A3...)
Then I'll be piss'd!

Tried that - They just passed it on to Lab88 who didn't respond.

You might be one of the first people in South Africa to own a Desire HD!
 
Same as when I got my N78 RICA'd the first time. It was "not properly loaded onto the system...". I was not the only one!
My advice to everyone (esp. on MTN) - Even if you know you've had you cell RICA'd, pls just double check (this is Africa after all) - 808 on MTN.
